J-Hope has announced his debut solo album, ‘Jack In The Box’.Announced on Saturday (June 25) via Big Hit Music and HYBE, the album has been confirmed for a July 15 release. Starcrawler have announced details of a new album called ‘She Said’ along with the release of a video for its title track – watch it below.The band’s first album for a major label will come out on September 16 via Big Machine, and follows the release of new single ‘Roadkill’ last month.The LA-based five-piece – comprising frontwoman Arrow De Wilde, guitarists Henri Cash and Bill Cash, drummer Seth Carolina and bassist Tim Franco – released their self-titled debut album in 2018, following it up the next year with ‘Devour You’.Speaking about the new song in a statement, De Wilde said: “’She Said’ was one of the first songs written for this album. Simple Minds have shared new single ‘Vision Thing’, which is the first to be taken from the band’s upcoming eighteenth studio album ‘Direction Of The Heart’.The euphoric ‘Vision Thing’ features music written by guitarist Charlie Burchill and lyrics by frontman Jim Kerr, with the song described as a tribute to Kerr’s “best pal” – his late father who passed away in 2019.The new single is ‘Direction Of The Heart”s opener and is followed by eight new tracks, which were all recorded at Hamburg’s Chameleon Studios. ‘Human Traffic’ features a guest appearance from Sparks’ frontman Russell Mael, and elsewhere the album includes a cover of The Call’s 1983 single ‘The Walls Came Down’.‘Direction Of The Heart’ is the follow-up to 2018’s ‘Walk Between Worlds’ and is out on October 21.

The Smile have announced their first-ever tour of North America for November and December 2022, in support of their debut album ‘A Light For Attracting Attention’.The band, which features Radiohead‘s Thom Yorke and Johnny Greenwood, will begin their debut tour across the continent in Providence, Rhode Island. The tour will then take them across the US and Canada, including two New York dates at Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre and the city’s Hammerstein Ballroom.A pre-sale for the tour will begin this Thursday (June 16) from 10am local time, with the general sale following the next day at the same local time.

Justice have shared an original demo of their 2007 hit ‘D.A.N.C.E’ to mark the 15th anniversary of their debut album.The French dance duo’s first full-length LP ‘†’ came out 15 years ago yesterday (June 11, 2007).To celebrate, they’ve released an EP of multiple remixes, extended versions and demos of ‘D.A.N.C.E.’, their biggest hit.The only unreleased track on the compilation is an original demo of the track, which you can listen to below.Last year, Justice became involved in a legal spat with Justin Bieber. The cover for Bieber’s sixth record ‘Justice’, which arrived back in March 2021, references the pop star’s Christian faith by using a crucifix-style “T” in the title.Fans soon began noticing the similarities between the logo and that of French dance duo, who have used the font since 2003.

Johnny Depp and English guitarist Jeff Beck are set to release a joint album on July 15 after the actor joined Beck on his European tour.  The album will include 13 tracks mostly covers of songs, featuring tunes from hit artists including the Beach Boys and Marvin Gaye. Depp is also including two original songs, with one song titled "This Is a Song for Miss Hedy Lamarr" as an homage to the actress.  "It’s an extraordinary honor to play and write music with Jeff, one of the true greats and someone I am now privileged enough to call my brother," Depp said in a statement on Thursday, which also marks the actor's 59th birthday.  Beck had unofficially teased the LP at a concert appearance last week, according to Variety.  The album, titled "18", was apparently named after the energy both artists felt when recording and performing together.  "We would joke about how we felt 18 again, so that just became the album title, too," said Beck in a statement.

Johnny Depp and Jeff Beck have announced details of a collaborative album called ’18’ and shared its first single.Depp made headlines last month (May 29) when he was a surprise guest at Beck’s show in Sheffield. The pair performed covers of John Lennon, Marvin Gaye and Jimi Hendrix, and the actor went on to join Beck on stage at a handful of other gigs despite awaiting the verdict in his defamation trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard at the time.The new album, recorded over the past three years, is coming out on July 15.
