‘The Righteous Gemstones’ Season 3 Gets Premiere Date On HBO, Teaser Trailer Released

Netflix has set July 20 for the Season 3 premiere of Sweet Magnolias, and has released some first-look photos of the upcoming 10-episode season (see above and below).

Prime Video has set September 1 for the Season 2 premiere of fantasy epic series The Wheel of Time. We’re also getting a first look at the second season in some new images released today.

Starz has set a late summer premiere date for Season 2 of Power Book IV: Force. The third spinoff in the Power franchise starring Joseph Sikora as Tommy Egan will premiere its second season Friday, September 1 at midnight ET on the Starz app, Starz streaming and on-demand platforms and internationally on the Lionsgate+ premium streaming platform across Brazil, Spanish-speaking Latin America, the UK and Ireland. On linear, it will debut on Starz at 8 PM ET/PT in the U.S. and Canada.

Netflix has a new Chief Action Officer. Arnold Schwarzenegger has taken on the job in a promo featuring footage of the streaming network’s upcoming action series and films. See it above.

Max has set a summer premiere date for Full Circle, a limited series from director Steven Soderbergh and writer Ed Solomon, starring Claire Danes, Zazie Beetz, Jharrell Jerome and Timothy Olyphant, among others. The six-episode series will debut with two episodes on Thursday, July 13 on Max, followed by two episodes weekly leading up to the finale on Thursday, July 27. Max also released the first trailer. We knew it was coming in June, and now we have the date. Sex and the City revival And Just Like That… Season 2 will premiere on Thursday, June 22 on Max.

Disney+ will launch season 2 of Marvel’s Loki on October 6. Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige announced the date Tuesday during Disney’s Upfront presentation, where he also introduced first-look footage of the upcoming season. New episodes will air weekly.

Hulu’s Emmy-nominated Only Murders in the Building will premiere its third season Tuesday, August 8. The date was announced Tuesday as part of Disney’s upfront presentation.

James Cameron‘s Avatar: The Way of Water will soon be making its way to both Disney+ and Max (formerly HBO Max) following a historic run in theaters. The sci-fi epic, which debuted 13 years after the release of Cameron’s original Avatar film, will hit both platforms on June 7th, being accompanied there by bonus content featuring filmmakers, cast and crew.

Season 2 of Apple TV+’s Foundation will debut globally on July 14 with one episode, followed by new episodes weekly, every Friday.

Ethan Shanfeld HBO is bringing back its most beloved ultra-rich adult children fighting for the family business. I’m talking, of course, about the Gemstones. Danny McBride’s absurdist megachurch comedy returns for Season 3 on June 18, as “The Righteous Gemstones” unveiled the first trailer for its next installment. The high-octane teaser clip features monster trucks, high-speed racing and none other than Steve Zahn, who appears to play a well-dressed rival to Jesse, Judy and Kelvin Gemstone (played respectively by McBride, Edi Patterson and Adam DeVine). John Goodman also stars as the Gemstone family patriarch, alongside series regulars Cassidy Freeman, Tim Baltz, Tony Cavalero and Walton Goggins. The official Season 3 logline from HBO reads, “When the spoiled Gemstone children finally get their wish to take control of the Church, they discover leadership is harder than they imagined and that their extravagant lifestyle comes with a heavy price.”

HBO is about to lose one of its most popular comedy series this month, as “Barry” comes to a close. But in June, it appears that “The Righteous Gemstones” is returning to pick up some of that comedy slack.  As seen in the teaser for “The Righteous Gemstones” Season 3, the televangelist family you love to laugh at returns with even more ridiculousness.

Season 2 follows Carmy, Sydney Adamu (Ayo Edebiri) and Richard “Richie” Jerimovich (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) as they work to transform their grimy sandwich joint into a next-level spot.

The Bear will return for its second season on Thursday, June 22, FX announced today. All 10 episodes of the hit dark comedy will be available for streaming exclusively on Hulu. Season 2 will be available on Star+ in Latin America and Disney+ in all other territories at a later date. FX also released the season 2 key art (see below).

Starring Jeremy Allen White as Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto, “The Bear” follows a young, classically trained chef who returns home to Chicago to run his family’s Italian beef shop after his brother dies by suicide. The series also stars Ayo Edebiri, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, Edwin Lee Gibson, Abby Elliott, Corey Hendrix, Matty Matheson, Richard Esteras and Jose M. Cervantes.

, based on Jenny Han's bestselling novels, has an official premiere date on Prime Video, with the first three episodes dropping Friday, July 14, the streaming service announced Friday. Subsequent episodes will be released weekly until the season finale on Aug. 18.The upcoming season returns Lola Tung, Christopher Briney, Gavin Casalegno, Sean Kaufman, Rain Spencer, David Iacono, Rachel Blanchard and Jackie Chung, and introduces Elsie Fisher and Kyra Sedgwick, who are both joining the ensemble in recurring roles. All eight episode titles were also unveiled as part of the season 2 announcement.
