Viewers of Coleen Rooney's new Disney+ documentary have hailed her 'the greatest WAG of all time' as they proclaimed 'don't mess with a northern lass.'
Coleen speaks out for the first time about her court ordeal with Rebekah Vardy last summer in Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha. The three-part series dropped on Disney+ on Wednesday, October 18 - and viewers are already 'obsessed' with Coleen.
The case first unfolded on social media in 2019, when Rooney accused Vardy of leaking information about her private life to The Sun newspaper. Rooney had planted fake stories on a private Instagram account and only allowed access to Vardy to determine if she was the source of the leak.

After the stories fake stories were published, Rooney took to social media to publicly reveal her fellow ‘WAG’ was indeed the source of the leak. In a post on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, she revealed: “I have saved and screenshotted all the original stories which clearly show just one person has viewed them. It’s ……… Rebekah Vardy’s account.”
Vardy denied Rooney’s claims, and went on to sue her for libel. Rooney defended the claim on the basis her post which outed Vardy was “substantially true”. After an intensely publicised, week-long trial at London’s High Court in May last year, the judge eventually ruled in Rooney’s favour and dismissed the claim against her.
The new documentary features interviews with Coleen herself, as well as husband Wayne Rooney, Coleen's parents and key members of her legal team. Coleen reveals how she caught Vardy out with her
