A new Disney+ series will see Coleen Rooney speak out about her High Court battle that gripped the nation.
The WAG found herself in court last summer after Rebekah Vardy sued her for libel. It all began in 2019 when Rooney accused Vardy of leaking information about her private life to The Sun.
Rooney, wife of footballer Wayne Rooney, took to social media to reveal she'd set up fake stories on her Instagram, that only Vardy could see, which then ended up in the press. She revealed her findings in an post shared across Instagram and Twitter, which concluded with the iconic line: "It's... Rebekah Vardy's account."

Vardy denied Rooney’s claims, and went on to sue her for libel. After a week-long trial at London’s High Court in May last year, the judge eventually ruled in Rooney’s favour and dismissed the claim against her on July 29.
Vardy was ordered to pay £1.5m in legal costs to Rooney following the trial. Now, the three-part series will uncover what was arguably one of the biggest tabloid news stories in the past decade, with Coleen herself speaking out on the ordeal.
Julia Nottingham, the series’ executive producer, said her “jaw was on the floor” after learning of the ordeal Coleen went through. She believes the documentary will uncover a new side to the story.
