The Range has officially announced when it will be opening its doors to a brand new store in Glasgow, creating over 70 new jobs for the local area.
The high-street retail chain has confirmed it will open up its new Great Western Glasgow store in the Great Western Retail Park based in Drumchapel next week. After months of anticipation, the new store will have its grand opening on Friday, October 28 at 9am.
The home, leisure and gardens retailer currently operates over 180 locations across the entire UK - but only has around 15 outlets based in Scotland, with the largest being its flagship Edinburgh store.
The opening makes the new store only the second to open in Glasgow, as another branch is also located on London Road based in the East End.
The retailer has also said the new store has provided a fantastic boost to the local economy, as it has created around 73 new jobs, both during the build and now that the doors are opening.
With over 42,000 sq.ft, the new store will offer shoppers all the great value items they have come to know and love, including homeware, leisure and garden products.
There will also be some exclusive opening offers across the new store until November 13, but the retailer has advised shoppers to be quick, as once they are gone, they are gone.
There will also be a separate section dedicated to the frozen foods giant Iceland, following the retailers ongoing partnership with the supermarket.
Customers will be able to pop into the store for a shopping trip between the hours of 9am-8pm from Monday to Saturday, while the store will close a little earlier from 9am - 6pm on Sunday.
