Greater Manchester will receive £78.2 m to 'decarbonise' a number of public and council-owned buildings.
Energy efficiency upgrades will be made to more than 150 public buildings and council-owned leisure centres as part of a project to make the city-region carbon neutral.
The funding will be provided as part of the Government’s Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme.
