The Masked Singer UK spoilers follow. The Masked Singer UK's latest eliminated celebrity has admitted they almost gave away their identity behind the scenes. Over the weekend (January 15), Bagpipes became the latest contestant to be sent home, and was eventually unmasked as Australian tennis player Pat Cash.
However, the star has admitted that he nearly gave the game away when he was preparing in his dressing room and heard another contestant arriving. "All I could see was someone coming out of the car and they were completely covered up with gloves on and all that sort of stuff. "And, I was thinking, 'Oh hold on! I don't really know who celebrities are and all that sort of stuff, but I might be able to get a clue' and I sort of looked at this person's partner and I thought, 'Oh, hold on, are they the partner? Or are they the manager?'"The star admitted he was "getting so wound up just like everybody else trying to guess", continuing: "So, I was really having a stare and then I realised, 'Oh my gosh, I've got my head out the window, what am I doing?'"So I put my head back in the window before I got in trouble myself. "I'm a sort of frustrated rock guitarist. I sort of had a band a little bit, for a while I called myself the 'emergency singer,'" he said. "So yeah, singing I liked.
