The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is being made into a TV series.
Based on Stieg Larsson‘s Millenium book series, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo has already appeared on the big screen in 2021 with David Fincher‘s film adaptation of the novel, which starred Rooney Mara and Daniel Craig.
The Girl in the Spider’s Web, directed by Fede Alvarez and starring Claire Foy and Sverrir Gudnason, was released in 2018.

In May 2020, it was reported that a series based on the books’ main character, Lisbeth Salander, was in the works, and that it would not be “a sequel or continuation of the story from the books or the films into which they were adapted.”
The TV series will be produced by Amazon MGM Studios with Veena Sud attached as showrunner, Variety reports.
The first three novels in the series were previously adapted into a Swedish film series with Noomi Rapace and Michael Nyqvist in the lead roles.
