A player to keep an eye on this season is Almeria’s 21-year-old forward Largie Ramazani. Having scored against Real Madrid and Sevilla so far this season, Ramazani has caught the eye of La Liga enthusiasts.
However, some Manchester United fans may remember the name from the three years he spent at the club from 2017-2020. Having arrived from Charlton Athletic, Ramazani played in the under 18s squad under coaches Kieran McKenna and Neil Ryan before being naturally promoted to the under 23s squad.
In November 2019 Ramazani made his first and only appearance for United in a 2-1 away loss to FC Astana in the Europa League. However, after a blistering start to the under 23s season, scoring nine goals in 13 games and a first-team debut, Ramazani didn’t start a game in 2020 leading up to his departure.

The player left on his own accord by rejecting United’s contract offers throughout the year with concerns surrounding his pathway to the first team. It could be assumed that the Belgian made it clear about his intentions late in 2019 and therefore the United staff saw little value in Ramazani taking a starting position in the development squad with a lack of a long-term future at the club.
Ramazani departed Manchester for La Liga2 side UD Almeria, playing in the second division of Spanish football. He made a successful first impression, netting nine goals in 33 appearances in his debut season, playing on either wing or even as a striker alongside Umar Sadiq.
