Justice have shared an original demo of their 2007 hit ‘D.A.N.C.E’ to mark the 15th anniversary of their debut album.The French dance duo’s first full-length LP ‘†’ came out 15 years ago yesterday (June 11, 2007).To celebrate, they’ve released an EP of multiple remixes, extended versions and demos of ‘D.A.N.C.E.’, their biggest hit.The only unreleased track on the compilation is an original demo of the track, which you can listen to below.Last year, Justice became involved in a legal spat with Justin Bieber. Nick Vivarelli International CorrespondentThe Venice Film Festival is honoring French screen icon Catherine Deneuve with its Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement.Through her career, Deneuve has worked with some of Europe’s greatest directors, such as Luis Buñuel, Francois Truffaut, Manoel De Oliveira, Roman Polanski, and Lars von Trier, to name a few.Deneuve’s long rapport with the Lido harks back to 1967 when Buñuel’s “Belle de Jour” in which she played a bourgeoise Paris housewife who seeks erotic liberation through part-time work in a brothel, won the Golden Lion. Deneuve then won the Venice Volpi Cup for best actress for her role in Nicole Garcia’s “Place Vendôme” in 1998, and presided over the fest’s jury in 2006.

Iconic French actress Catherine Deneuve will be presented with the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement at the 79th Venice Film Festival which runs August 31–September 10 on the Lido.

Directed by Louis Garrel, son of revered arthouse director Philippe, “The Innocent” is a quintessentially French comedy whose principle aim is to be a fun time. Though this may seem a relatively modest ambition, we all know it isn’t easy to do well, and Garrel certainly does not make things any simpler for himself as the film repeatedly leaves the realm of the bon mot to veer on the farcical.

It is modelled on Martin Scorsese’s Film Foundation and the American Genre Film Archive (AGFA) in the U.S.Among the first projects of the EGFF will be an academic study of historic female genre film makers in Europe and raising funds for a 4K film scanner set-up dedicated to digitizing and restoring genre films and related material that is languishing in archives.

Unlike so many of his friends, and indeed his wife,  Nahal Tajadod, Carrière notes, he will have the privilege of being buried in the same place where he was born.
