We're now officially nine weeks into Strictly Come Dancing and it's now time for what we've all been waiting for. This weekend's show marks the BBC One dance contest's return to Blackpool as per the show's annual tradition.

Hit BBC crime documentary The Detectives returns to our screens this week, with cameras following Greater Manchester Police’s dedicated organised crime unit in Rochdale.
During the three-part series, DS Martin Soutter and his officers are trying to dismantle the Adam gang — based on the Newbold Estate in Rochdale. Episode one of the show sees officers grapple with a horrific axe attack.
Following a ‘minor’ road rage incident, tree surgeon Cameron Brooksbank attempted to calm the situation. The then-18-year-old was struck by an axe in the armpit, and then on the wrist as he tried to shield his head from another blow.

Cameron’s hand was partially reattached, but then required a further five surgeries in the two years since the attack just to maintain 60 percent use of his arm. He said he was physically and mentally scarred by the events in a police interview a few weeks later.
Episode two of the series then sees Cameron have his day in court, but the jury were unable to come to a verdict in his case. A retrial features in episode three.
Episode two also examines the possibility of gang members trying to influence the jury, with officers and prosecutors concerned the OCG is intimidating one juror in particular. That juror is then dismissed from the case before deliberations begin.
The attack was carried out by a gangster nicknamed Skinny, real name Mohammed Awais Sajid. Eventually, after a legal battle which ended in October 2019 — two years after the attack — he was convicted of the crime.
Although found not guilty of attempted murder, Skinny was convicted of committing section 18
