‘The Conners’ Renewed For Season 5 By ABC

It’s time to get’cha head in the game! “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” has officially set a summer return for its upcoming third season, Disney+ announced Friday on National Streaming Day. The eight-episode season will kick off Wednesday, July 27 with episodes dropping weekly.

Disney+ has renewed “High School Musical: The Musical: the Series” for a fourth outing, ahead of the Season 3 premiere.In addition to announcing a fourth season, Disney also announced that Season 3 of the musical series will premiere on the streamer July 27.

Ahead of its Season 3 premiere, Disney+ has ordered a fourth season of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. The eight-episode third season will premiere on July 27, with each episode streaming weekly on Wednesdays, exclusively on Disney+. The streamer also released a first-look clip of Season 3 (see above).

Home will return for a second season at Apple TV+.

Fox has renewed 9-1-1 spinoff 9-1-1: Lone Star for a fourth season. The pickup was part of the network’s upfront slate announcement. Not included in it are Fox’s flagship scripted series 9-1-1 as well as fellow drama stalwart, The Resident.

Fox has even more costumes and tunes in store with The Masked Singer set to return for its eighth season.

Fox has ordered a second season of Crime Scene Kitchen, a baking competition series hosted by Joel McHale.

The crew finds worthy subjects in young-adult cousins and best friends Kelly Mallet (Holmes, a newcomer actor who goes by that single name) and Lloyd “Shrub” Mallet (Sam Straley) who let the production in on their lives and local current events.The rest of the key players in “Welcome to Flatch” include Joseph “Father Joe” Binghoffer (Seann William Scott), the local minister who tries to guide Kelly and Shrub, and his former girlfriend, Cheryl Peterson (Aya Cash), who is the editor of the local newspaper, the Flatch Patriot, as well as Shrub’s obsessive friend Mickey St.

Joe Otterson TV Reporter“Big Sky” has been renewed for Season 3 at ABC.In addition, Jensen Ackles will join the show’s third season as a series regular. He recently guest starred in the Season 2 finale as Beau Arlen, described as a confident and charming good ol’ boy from Texas who steps in as temporary Sheriff as a favor to his friend, Sheriff Tubb (Patrick Gallagher).This is the second good piece of broadcast TV news for Ackles in as many days, as the “Supernatural” prequel “The Winchesters” was just ordered at The CW. Ackles will narrate the series and serves as an executive producer.Jamie-Lynn Sigler has also been upped to series regular for Season 3.

ABC has picked up ensemble drama A Million Little Things for a fifth season. The network is not labeling Season 5 as final but I hear it is expected to be the closing chapter of the DJ Nash-created series. 

ABC will invest in yet another season of Home Economics, renewing the comedy from Michael Colton and John Aboud (Penguins of Madagascar) for season 3.

The mysteries of Big Sky will continue at ABC, which has renewed the David E. Kelly series for season three.

ABC will share more on the Williams family with The Wonder Years set to return for Season 2.
