Coronavirus infection rates in Bolton are continuing to rise rapidly, with one area now recording nearly one case for every 50 people.
Transmission rates are the highest they have been in six months after 1,300 positive tests were recorded in the last week, a rate of 452 cases per 100,000 people.
But, in the Lever Edge area of the borough the figures are significantly higher, with 1,940 cases per 100,000
