The 1975‘s Matty Healy has announced details of a solo acoustic gig in Sydney, Australia to aid the ongoing bushfire relief effort.
Healy had previously stated his intention to play gigs to help raise money for the relief effort across the world.
As announced on screens at the current Laneway Festival in Australia, Healy will headline a relief gig at the Metro Theatre in the city on February 4

Sydney had a rockin’ night on Sunday, when Queen performed at ANZ Olympic Stadium as part of their Fire Fight Australia concert benefitting those affected by the deadly bushfires in the region.

After appearing on stage in a hospital gown earlier this week following some medical issues, The 1975 frontman Matty Healy surprised fans again this week during the band's Australian tour by busting out an acoustic version of a new song. The track, which Healy previously revealed is titled "Jesus Christ 2005 God Bless America," is slated to appear on the group's upcoming Notes on a Conditional Form album.
