In a historic first, supermarket giant Tesco has changed its logo. The retailer has made a major change to its iconic supermarket logo, and shoppers will be able to spot the change on thousands of stores, delivery vans and billboards across the UK.
The change has been made ahead of Easter. For 2023, Easter will fall on Sunday April 9.
Tesco says it has given its iconic logo its first dedicated Easter makeover, introducing a temporary twist that will see a cracked egg design added to the Tesco ‘O’ in thousands of places across stores, delivery vans, billboards, social media posts, in-store signage, digital advertising, and TV adverts from today (20th March).
The ‘cracked egg’ has been hidden across the large logos on the outside of 19 surprise store locations across the country, with the updated design unveiled to launch a £100,000 Easter giveaway from the retailer.

From Monday March 20 until Wednesday March 29, shoppers who spot one of the limited-edition logos across any format can enter for the chance to win £1000 by sharing an image of it on their Instagram grid or Twitter feed with the hashtag #CrackingEaster or post a photo of it under the promotional post on the Tesco Facebook page.
The giveaway will see 100 lucky entrants win £1,000 to spend at Tesco, to help them enjoy Easter with family and friends. Last week Tesco unveiled its largest Easter Egg offering to date.
