McDonald's gives fans seven-day heads up ahead of major change to its menu in all stores next week

Fast food giant McDonald's has given fans a one-week warning before its menu changes. The burger chain is bringing back one of its most iconic items after it vanished from menus across the country due to overwhelming demand.
The Chicken Big Mac caused a frenzy on its debut launch in February 2022 - leading it to sell out in in days after customers just couldn’t get enough of it. Now the Chicken Big Mac is set to return on March 29.
McDonald's Chicken Big Mac is a twist on the classic Big Mac, and features a triple layered bun – plus two 100% chicken breast patties in a crispy coating, a slice of cheese, lettuce, pickles. The burger is finished with McDonald's iconic Big Mac sauce.

The Chicken Big Mac is set to launch in all restaurants on Wednesday 29th March. Speaking about the burger's return, Thomas O’Neill, Head of Marketing, McDonald’s UK and Ireland said: “We are excited to bring the Chicken Big Mac back to the UK and Ireland.
"It sold out in under a week last year so we know so many people will be as delighted as we are that it’s returning this Spring. The Steakhouse Stack is another fantastic development from our Menu team, the taste of steak and peppercorn sauce captured perfectly in this newest addition to our menu – delicious!"
As well as the Chicken Big Mac, a brand new burger will be added to the McDonald’s menu on Wednesday 29th March. The Steakhouse Stack is topped with two 100% beef patties, a slice of cheddar cheese, crispy onions, red onions, and lettuce topped with a creamy peppercorn sauce, all in a freshly toasted bun.
