Jamie T has announced details of his fifth studio album ‘The Theory Of Whatever’ in a new trailer.In the clip, which you can watch below, the South London singer-songwriter is seen filming himself reading from a brief from his management and sharing snippets from the record.In the message he begins: “Right album trailer brief, we’re looking to create an album trailer to seize the up and coming release. The trailer should be simple but yet impactful.

Andrew Bird has announced details of his new album ‘Inside Problems’ – you can listen to his new single ‘Underlands’ below.The US singer/songwriter will follow up his 2020 solo album ‘Hark!’ with the new record, which is set for release on June 3 via Loma Vista / Concord.Speaking about ‘Inside Problems’, which was produced by Mike Viola and recorded live by Bird and his four-piece band, Bird said: “I have so much fun taking my ideas apart before they really have defined themselves as distinct songs, when they’re still in that amoeba-like state.“I love the feeling of chasing ideas and having them split off and go hang out with another idea and then butting them up against each other to see if they talk to each other.”Bird has previewed ‘Inside Problems’ this week with the single ‘Underlands’, which you can hear above.“You just don’t know what’s under the surface, be it the land, the sea, our skin,” Bird explained in a press release about the track. “You could be whistling away, projecting contentedness, when really there’s a swirling twisted mess underneath.

Embrace have announced details of their new album ‘How To Be A Person Like Other People’ and an accompanying UK tour.The forthcoming record, Embrace’s eighth studio album, will be the follow-up to the band’s 2018 LP ‘Love Is A Basic Need’.Produced by the band’s Richard McNamara, ‘How To Be A Person Like Other People’ is set to be released on August 26 via Embrace’s own Mo’betta label through Townsend Music. Hot Chip have announced details of their new album ‘Freakout/Release’ – you can hear their new single ‘Down’ below.The forthcoming record will be the follow-up to the five-piece’s ‘A Bath Full Of Ecstasy’, which was released back in June 2019.Hot Chip’s eighth studio album ‘Freakout/Release’ will be released on August 19 via Domino. Kendrick Lamar has finally revealed key details of his long-awaited fifth studio album. The Los Angeles rapper tweeted a link to his website oklama.com with a new press release announcing the album's title as Mr Morale & The Big Steppers with a release date of May 13, 2022.

Kendrick Lamar has today (April 18) announced details of a new album, ‘Mr Morale & The Big Steppers’.The rapper, who is due to headline Glastonbury this summer alongside Paul McCartney and Billie Eilish, tweet out a new link to his Oklahoma website where he revealed the album’s new title along with its release date. Alt J have today (April 14) unveiled details of a one-off anniversary show at Brixton Academy.The gig will be a special one-off live performance of their 2012 debut album, ‘An Awesome Wave’, which went on to win the Mercury Prize.The band will be playing the album in full along with some “bonus tracks” at London’s O2 Brixton Academy on May 17.
