Scotland fans declared 'the party must go on' after watching from Munich's spectacular fanzone as their national team heroes slipped to a heavy 5-1 defeat against the hosts.
Tens of thousands of hopeful Scots piled into the Olympiapark from as early as 11am to make sure they got a seat on the grassy hill around the huge screen.
Despite being billed as the prime location for ticketless German's to watch the match, it was a Tartan Army takeover as the arena quickly turned into a sea of navy blue.
Saltires were pinned to fences and fans battled with the live musicians to be heard the loudest as they belted out 'no Scotland, no party!'.
But it was a crushing defeat. As the hosts netted the early opener pints went flying and a flare was lit as gutted Scots were seen biting their nails.
When the second and third goals followed the heads went into the hands as gutted Scots looked on while Germans relit flares around them.
