A talented Cambuslang teenager is on a high after winning a place in a prestigious national dance-off.
Light-footed Eva Black will compete against 100 of the UK’s most accomplished dancers in the acclaimed British Association of Teachers of Dancing (BATD) Bobby Barr Freestyle Scholarships one-day event on March 7.
Examiners were so impressed with the performance of 16-year-old Stonelaw High pupil Eva that they chose her to participate.

The victory capped off a night where Sam Mendes' technically dazzling war epic 1917 had a very strong chance of winning the grand prize, and many expected it would.
