The Wanted fans were delighted as Tom Parker made a surprise appearance at the band's Birmingham show on Monday evening. Earlier this month, 33 year old Tom explained that he had to pull out of the band's first concerts as he continues to fight cancer while receiving experimental treatment in Spain. And fans at the concert couldn't contain their excitement as they realised Tom was now back in the UK following a month's worth of treatment at the specialist clinic abroad.

But sadly, logistical issues with the treatment schedule have meant he will need to continue the programme for a few more days.Tom, who was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2020, initially old his fans the grade four glioblastoma was inoperable, and as a result, terminal.
