Scots stars have joined celebrities from around the world to help raise funds for Palestinian aid.
Auction items by Brian Cox and his wife Nicole Ansari-Cox, Annie Lennox and Tilda Swinton are among the top lots in the Cinema for Gaza auction.
Bidders can greet and meet Succession star Cox while seeing him star in the current London West End production of American playwright Eugene O’Neill’s classic play Long Day’s Journey Into Night.
Other highlights on offer include a bedtime story read over Zoom by actress Tilda Swinton, handwritten lyrics from Annie Lennox of the hit song Sweet Dreams and a Doctor Who clapperboard signed by former Time Lord Peter Capaldi.
Karen Gillan and former Doctor Who companion and Marvel star Arthur Darvill will team up as a duo for a Zoom call for a conversation about the show, easter eggs, theories, “maybe even the weather”.
There is also the chance to receive a life coaching session from Brian Cox’s actress wife Nicole Ansari-Cox, a “perfect porridge” tutorial and recipe from Josh O’Connor, who played Prince Charles in The Crown.
Proceeds from the auction, which also includes a poem read by former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn over Zoom, will go to Medical Aid for Palestine.
