Strictly Come Dancing’s Neil Jones had a funny response to ex-wife Katya Jones after she accidentally called him ‘husband’.The couple went their separate ways in 2019, however have remained friends, regularly appearing in each other’s social media posts. Katya, 32, took to Instagram on Monday evening to post a hilarious video of ex-husband Neil, 39, zipping her coat over her head while she yelled at him.Turning to the camera after zipping up the coat, Neil says “that’s better!”, before the words ‘every man’s dream coat’ appear on screen.
Captioning the video, Katya wrote: “How to solve a disagreement! Every dance partner/husband wishes for this coat!” She added: “"The satisfaction on @mr_njonesofficial face says it all." Taking to the comments, Neil pointed out one problem with her post. “You mean ex husband”, he said, alongside a string of laughing emojis.
Fans loved Neil’s response and chimed in with their own comments. One person joked: “You two are like the Hotel California: you can check out any time you like, but you can never leave.” Another person said: “Savage!” Meanwhile, one person was heartbroken, writing: “please say it isn’t so I thought yous were still married!”.
Clarifying what she meant, Katya added: “I mean dance partner! And any other husband in the world!” The couple have seemingly remained close after announcing their decision to part ways in September 2019. In a statement, the couple wrote: “"Hi everyone, as our fans and loyal supporters you are really important to us and so we wanted to let you know some news."
