Strictly’s Giovanni Pernice 'splits' from girlfriend – amid Amanda Abbington row drama

Strictly’s Giovanni Pernice has reportedly split from his girlfriend, Molly Brown, just three weeks after the pair went official on Instagram. Professional dancer Giovanni, 33, is thought to have met Molly, 24, earlier this year, and she posted a cosy snap of the pair recently, with the caption: "Amore mio," which is Italian for "my love".
However, Molly has now deleted the post and the pair no longer follow each other on Instagram. A source told The Mirror back in February: "Giovanni and Molly met a few weeks ago, and though it is very early days, things seem to be going well between them'.
"He has been keeping things quiet because he didn't want too much pressure on as they're getting to know each other." OK! has contacted Giovanni's representatives for comment.
The reported split comes after Giovanni faced scrutiny last year after his celebrity partner on the show, Amanda Abbington, 52, abruptly quit amid rumours that Giovanni's tough training style pushed her to the decision. Sherlock actress Amanda quit the BBC dancing show in October citing "personal reasons" and said that she was "so sad" she was unable to continue.
It later emerged in January this year that she had been diagnosed with mild PTSD and revealed that she had been sent death threats after she left the show. Meanwhile, Giovanni's former Strictly partners Laura Whitmore, Ranvir Singh and Amanda Abbington have reportedly met up to speak about their "difficult experiences".
