Giovanni Pernice has confirmed his near-future plans after one of his latest projects came to a sad end after an 'amazing journey'. Fans of the Strictly Come Dancing star saw him once again teamed up with show judge and friend Anton Du Beke for a new TV series.
Following their trip to Italy last year, their new show sees the duo head to Spain on an epic adventure across Anton's motherland with their trip ending in the very village where Anton's mother was born. The third and final episode of the series, titled Anton & Giovanni’s Adventures in Spain, aired on Monday night (April 1) and it was a family affair.
As well as being joined by Strictly family, co-star Gorka Marquez, Anton's family - including his mum, his wife and his twins - also joined them in a poignant end to their latest adventure.

Ahead of the last episode airing, Giovanni shared a photo of himself and Anton's family on Instagram as he confirmed the end of the series. Ahead of the final episode airing, he wrote in the caption of the post: "Another amazing journey with my best friend @mrantondubeke come to the end tonight at 8pm on @bbcone.
"Last episode of our latest tv series. Thank you so much for watching and if you missed you can still catch up on @bbciplayer." The star ended his post: "Question … where next?"
