Steam Deck’s release date and how to order have been announced

Sony Pictures Classics has pushed back the release for Roger Michell’s film The Duke, starring Academy Award winners Jim Broadbent and Helen Mirren, by a month—from March 25 to April 22, 2022. It will be released in theaters in New York and Los Angeles on the latter date before expanding to additional cities over the following weeks.

Horizon Forbidden West will be launching this week and will serve as a direct sequel to the critically acclaimed Horizon Zero Dawn.

So far, Valve’s portable handheld PC is impressing the people who have had a bit of time with it, and with the previously announced “Deck Verified” program, there are high hopes that not only will the software work well, but most games will be clear and up front about the kind of compatibility with the new system, so there’s no confusion. Most games will work in some form or another due to Steam Deck being an open platform where people with the know-how can install anything they want, but it seems Epic Games won’t be supporting ‘Fortnite’ on the Steam Deck, at least not fully.

Blumhouse Productions’ adaptation of the Stephen King novel “Firestarter” has gotten a release date. The film will hit theaters and Peacock in early May.Starring Zac Efron and Sydney Lemmon as parents Andy and Vicky, the story follows them on the run as they attempt to hide their daughter Charlie (Ryan Kiera Armstrong) from the government.

As we get closer to the February 25th release date for Valve’s handheld PC Steam Deck, samples of the device are being sent to media, and we’re getting some new information ahead of the final reviews that will likely be out closer to launch. It seems that for now outlets can only talk about the hardware itself, and that so far, the device is sounding pretty good.

Valheim worked from day one on Steam Deck without any changes”.“The graphic settings need to be set down a bit compared to my high end PC of course, but I’m still impressed with what such a small handheld can handle without any platform specific optimizations,” Smårs added.“The touchpad for the mouse, I dare say, might be one of the best I’ve ever used,” added Raymond Doer, owner of SixtyGig Games.

Some may argue that twitch based, hyper-speed shooters are an under-represented genre when it comes to single player experiences, but with Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem just released, the next stop for the FPS fans will be Shadow Warrior 3, which has been finally been given a release date, and it’s March 1st.

Shadow Warrior 3 has had its voice cast and imminent release date announced, as developer Flying Wild Hog finishes the game.After a delay into this year, Shadow Warrior 3 will release on March 1 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Devolver Digital has released a new trailer to celebrate the announcement, which can be watched below.The voice cast has also been announced for the game, with Mike Moh playing Lo Wang, Andromeda Dunker playing Motoko, and SungWon Cho playing Zilla.
