Stars take turns reading first book for Harry Potter At Home initiative

What’s the spell to get JK Rowling to stop tweeting anti-trans messages? Deletium Twitaccountus? Many Harry Potter fans were wishing they could cast “Silencio” on JK, 54, after the British author– yet again – made anti-trans statements.

In an open letter to the fans, Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe reflected on author J K Rowling’s anti-trans comments. The British author recently faced extreme backlash after she posted some controversial anti-trans tweets on June 6.

They grew up together but did they keep in touch after the beloved series came to an end? Daniel Radcliffe shared the status of his friendship with longtime Harry Potter co-stars Emma Watson and Rupert Grint during a new interview.

To answer that question, Daniel responded, “Absolutely”!

Previously, it was reported that the representative of Rupert Grint said in an official statement that the Harry Potter actor Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome welcomed a baby girl and requested that the couple should be given privacy at this time.

Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint are still the best of friends. During his virtual visit to Watch What Happens Live on Monday, the Harry Potter star shared that he was thrilled by the news that his co-star and his longtime girlfriend Georgia Groome had welcomed their first child earlier this month.

Harry Potter alum Daniel Radcliffe treated his fans with a surprise. Recently, the actor read out chapter 1 from the Harry Potter book by J.K. Rowling in his own voice and it has been made available for online streaming on the Harry Potter at Home website. The actor read out the story of the Philosopher's Stone as a part of the initiative taken by author J.K. Rowling to entertain the kids during the lockdown imposed due to the global Coronavirus outbreak.

A roster of celebrities including Daniel Radcliffe and David Beckham will read JK Rowling‘s beloved novel Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone in its entirety.
