Star Wars reportedly casts first ever transgender actor

What would a “Star Wars” film or TV show look like if everything was peaceful and there was no actual war to speak of? That’s the question that apparently caused quite a bit of discussion during the development of the upcoming “Star Wars” series, “The Acolyte.”  In a new interview with EW, showrunner Leslye Headland explained how “The Acolyte” fits in the grand timeline of “Star Wars” stories.

The upcoming Disney Plus series, Star Wars: The Acolyte is said to have more Jedi than any other film or show. The Jedi are arguably the most noticeable characters in all of fiction. Even non-Star Wars fans know what a Jedi is.

NME has contacted Disney+ for comment.Thorn is a British actress, writer and director who produces the YouTube channel Philosophy Tube.
