Stacey Dooley said she feels 'really lucky' to be pregnant at the age of 35. The TV presenter appeared on BBC's The One Show on Friday evening after announcing that she is expecting a baby with her boyfriend and former Strictly Come Dancing partner Kevin Clifton.
Stacey appeared on the show to discuss her new documentary, which will follow dancers from across the globe as they compete at the British Open Championships in Blackpool, Birmingham Live reports. But first, host Ronan Keating congratulated Stacey on the happy couple's pregnancy news.
A glowing Stacey replied: "I cant's quite believe it actually, I'm delighted. I feel really lucky because I'm 35 so you never take it for granted." She added: "I can't quite believe I'm going to be in charge of a little human being."

According to the NHS, women become less fertile as they get older, but women under 40 still have an eight in 10 chance of getting pregnant within a year of first trying. One study found that among couples aged 19 to 26 have a 92 per cent chance of conceiving after one year and 98 per cent after two years, while couples aged 35 to 39 have an 82 per cent of conceiving after one year and a 90 per cent chance after two years.
Stacey and Kevin got together after being paired up in the 2018 series of Strictly Come Dancing, which they went on to win. The Strictly winners announced their happy news on Stacey's social media with a sweet photo of her growing baby bump.
She is seen cradling her belly and pulling up her top to reveal her bump in the photo, which is captioned: "We are having a baby!"
