Despite fans failing to have noticed her growing bump, the documentary maker had shared a telling comment much earlier on. In her W Show Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over last year, a very subtle hint was dropped that her and Kevin, 39, had been talking about having a baby. The former Strictly star was asked if the couple were planning an engagement to which she replied: “Kev and I have been together for two years.
"I don’t think I want to get married. I think I’d be more interested in starting a family than getting married." The comment could easily have been missed by fans and Stacey cleverly hid her pregnancy on Instagram until she was ready to announce the news earlier this week. Stacey posted regularly to her 1 million followers in recent months but gave no hints of her pregnancy.
The star was clever to share several snaps that she didn’t herself feature in and any pictures she was in she covered her growing bump with baggy outfits and was never pictured from the side that could have thrown light on her exciting news.
