A special trail in Liverpool coinciding with Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in the UK and Ireland has been unveiled - and it will feature a seven-foot butterfly installation, a ‘red room’ and a grand piano.
Next week, the American singer will arrive in the country for her eagerly-awaited career-defining shows. The UK tour will kick off in Edinburgh on June 7 before heading to Liverpool, Cardiff, London and Dublin.
Some of the most-anticipated shows, especially for people travelling from Manchester, are set to be the shows at Anfield Stadium from June 13 to 15. And in anticipation of Taylor’s arrival in the city, Liverpool is going big on the occasion.

The city will be taken over with eleven different art installations all inspired by each of Tayor’s albums. Dubbed the Taylor Town Trail, it has been curated by the same team that worked on Liverpool’s Eurovision 2023 celebrations and will serve as a must-see attraction for the 150,000 fans coming to the city for the Anfield shows.
As first reported by the Liverpool Echo, the trail, created in partnership with Liverpool City Council and Make CIC, will officially get underway from June 8 to 16 - meaning there will be ample opportunities for Swifties to visit Liverpool both before and after her shows in the city.
Ahead of the trail’s official opening, we’ve rounded up everything you need to know if you want to check out the installations - which will include everything from murals to regal thrones.
As the name implies, the Taylor Town Trail will be taking place all across Liverpool so your best starting point will be Liverpool Lime Street. You can get trains into Liverpool from Manchester
