Strictly Come Dancing star Amanda Abbington has withdrawn her complaint to the BBC, stating that her experience on the show led to post-traumatic stress disorder. The Mail Online reports that the Sherlock actress, 52, who demanded CCTV footage of rehearsals with her professional partner Giovanni Pernice following her departure from the programme, has not contacted the Corporation on the matter further. Sources told the publication that the ‘matter is now closed’ and they have ‘moved on’ after she asked to review the recordings of their off-screen dancing after she left the series, citing ‘personal reasons.’ Amanda left the competition last October due to "personal reasons", after whispers of a 'feud' between her and her professional partner Giovanni, 33, and three months later it was reported that the BBC had received a request from Amanda for footage from her dance rehearsals.
