Amanda Abbington took to Instagram with her partner, former Britain's Got Talent stuntman Jonathan Goodwin, to check in on their fans.
The former Strictly Come Dancing star filmed the slightly chaotic video with her fiancé in their living room in selfie mode, where they announced that they missed their followers and wanted to catch up with them. "Hello.
We haven't been here for a while," Amanda declared, before trailing off on a tangent after getting distracted by the couple's new puppy, Lennon. "He looks a lot like a bat." Jonathan joked that they have too many dogs - they have four - and asked Amanda's followers if anyone was willing to take one on.
Following the statement, the couple started bickering and Amanda shut Jonathan down, talking over him to insist that they don't have too many dogs, and they love them all equally. The video then took another diversion, after Amanda looked at herself on screen and told viewers that she "remembers who [she] looks like now".
Jonathan asked, "who?" to which she replied: "Do you remember Marjorie Proops, the old agony aunt from the late 70s and early 80s?" Jonathan flatly said: "I was born in 1980," which subtly reminded Amanda that he is eight years her junior.
This remark did not go down well with the actor, who turned to her fiancé and said: "Why don't you f**k off? You keep reminding me that you're considerably younger than I am." "Anyway, we just wanted to say hello and check in," Amanda continued, as she got back on track to why the couple were recording the video in the first place. "Is everybody OK?" Jonathan asked.
