Beck Bennett has joined the cast of the upcoming Superman movie!
The 39-year-old actor, best known for his work on Saturday Night Live for eight seasons, was revealed to be the latest addition to the DCU’s superhero flick, THR reports.
After the news was announced, director, writer and producer James Gunn confirmed the casting, and he revealed what character he’ll be playing!

For those unfamiliar, Steve Lombard is a Daily Planet sports reporter, who works with Clark Kent (David Corenswet) and Lois Lane (Rachel Brosnahan).
Other Daily Planet employees that will be in the movie include photojournalist Jimmy Olsen and Editor in Chief Perry White.
