Sir Rod Stewart and his wife Penny Lancaster led the charge of celebs at day one of the Cheltenham Festival on Tuesday. The couple looked eye-catching in tweed blazers, as they cosied up to one another whilst enjoying the first day of the annual racing event. Among other celebrities spotted were Mike Tindall’s rugby podcast co-host James Haskell and his wife Chloe Madeley.
Chloe is currently pregnant with the couple’s first child, and the two celebrities glowed as they appeared love-struck at the event. Alongside them Love Island contestant Chris Hughes, who is from the Cotswolds, also made an appearance, with Frankie Foster who’s also of Love Island fame. Former Top Gear host Richard Hammond appeared alongside his wife Mindy, and the couple looked dapper decked out in tweed, both adorning their looks with hats.
Rugby players and royals also abounded, with Zara Tindall and husband Mike also taking centre stage. The Olympic Gold Medallist, who is also the daughter of Princess Anne, appeared alongside her husband Mike, was was part of the victorious Rugby World Cup squad in 2003. Zara’s brother Peter, who is Princess Anne’s other child, was also present on the first day of the races.
Ben Foden was also there on the first day of the event. Aston Villa stars and team mates Ashley Young, Emiliano Martinez, Kortney Hause, Tyron Mings, Ollie Watkins and Matty Cash were also all present. Rugby royalty Lawrence Dallaglio also made an appearance on the event’s first day, alongside fashion designer to the stars Jade Holland Cooper, whose high-end clothing is worn by the likes of the Duchess of Cambridge.
