The stars joined forces to help stray cats and kittens at Celia Hammond’s Animal Trust as they backed their pal, 81-year-old former model Celia, at the plush Ned Hotel in Bank in London.
Almost £250,000 was raised for the charity as the actor and rocker entertained the small crowd, auctioning off items to keep the cash coming.
As reported in the Mirror, the pair kept their union quiet but Sir Rod, 79, thrilled the audience by belting out his famous tunes including Maggie May, Forever Young and First Cut is the Deepest.
While Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny showed off his skills on the guitar.
The pair reunited at the private charity event and their appearance went down a storm after their reunion last year at Royal Albert Hall in memory of legendary rock musician Jeff Beck.
Celia has dedicated her life to animal welfare since she set up the charity almost 40 years ago. "Celia's devotion and commitment to protecting vulnerable and neglected animals is beyond admirable," the legendary actor, 60, told DailyMail.com. "I'm so glad to be part of the evening's success, and with the added bonus of playing alongside my friend, Sir Rod Stewart."
