Sir Rod Stewart made a surprise appearance at The Snuts' Glasgow Barrowland gig on Tuesday night, leaving revellers stunned.
The West Lothian band were showcasing their brand new album Millennials - which is currently in a chart battle with Rod and Jules Holland's new album Swing Fever - when a blonde figure in a yellow suit jacket suddenly appeared on stage and caused confusion in the crowd.
As he began to belt out Maggie May, some fans thought that it could be the real Rod performing in front of them as they believed the Hoops-daft rocker could be in Glasgow ahead of Celtic's clash with Dundee on Wednesday night.
But as he finished the song, the crowd began to boo and 'Rod' walked off without saying a word.
Later in the gig, lead singer Jack Cochrane made a joke about having to pay for Rod to stay in a local hotel, hinting that it was just a really good Rod impersonator after all.
Fans took to social media to hail the apparent PR stunt.
