The Great Escape has announced details of 100 more artists who will play this year’s festival, which returns to Brighton from 12-14 May. It follows the announcement of the first 50 acts on the 2022 bill last year.Among the latest additions to the line-up are The Amazons, Yard Act, Rebecca Black, Sinead O’Brien, Baby Queen, Abby Roberts, Dylan Fraser, Indigo De Souza, Lola Young, Crawlers, Malaki, Enola Gay and Madison Cunningham.In addition to the update on who is playing the main TGE festival this year, more details have also been revealed about The Road To The Great Escape, live music showcases taking place in Glasgow and Dublin in the run up to the main festival – in Glasgow on 6-7 May and Dublin on 9-10 May.Artists due to play those shows include Abi Coulibaly, Conor Albert, Dylan Fraser, Eli Smart, English Teacher, Frankie Beetlestone and Wallice.As always, the main TGE festival will see more than 450 artists play at more than 35 venues across Brighton.

Singer Sinead O'Connor has announced the death of her teenage son Shane.
The musician, aged 55, shared the devastating news in a tweet : "My beautiful son, Nevi’im Nesta Ali Shane O’Connor, the very light of my life, decided to end his earthly struggle today and is now with God.
"May he rest in peace and may no one follow his example. My baby. I love you so much. Please be at peace."
The Mirror reports that the boy, aged 17, had been missing since January 6, with police launching a mass search to help find him.
Throughout the search, Sinead pleaded to her son to get in touch with her.
She tweeted: "Shane, your life is precious. God didn’t chisel that beautiful smile on your beautiful face for nothing.
"My world would collapse without you. You are my heart. Please don’t stop it from beating. Please don’t harm yourself. Go to the Gardai and let’s get you to hospital.
"This is a message for my son, Shane. Shane, it’s not funny any more all this going missing. You are scaring the crap out of me. Could you please do the right thing and present yourself at a Gardai station. If you are with Shane please call the Gardai for his safety".
Shane was last seen in Tallaght, South Dublin, on Friday.
The appeal to find the missing teen was renewed on Friday, a Guardia spokesperson said: "He is 5ft 6 ins, with short brown hair and blue eyes.
When last seen, he was wearing a black hoodie with a print design dark tracksuit pants, a wine coloured T-shirt and runners."
Today Guardia confirmed that the search for Shane had been called off.
"Following the recovery of a body in the Bray area of Wicklow on Friday, 7th January 2022, a Missing Person Appeal in respect of Shane O'Connor, 17 years, has been stood down," a spokesperson said.
