A man has been arrested after a triple shooting where staff in a newsagents were allegedly threatened and a Showcase Cinema locked down.
A major incident was declared in Liverpool last night after a gunman fired shots in three different locations in the city. Police initially descended onto Sangha's newsagents on Lower House Lane after the suspect allegedly threatened the store assistant with his weapon.

A third report of gunfire was reported to officers at around 10.20pm before the 49-year-old male suspect was arrested at 5am this morning. The Mirror reports that cops were forced to display a taser to bring him in.
There were no reported injuries. Dramatic images and video footage shows armed officers dealing with the incident last night with a police helicopter also in attendance.
