Concern has been sparked for Shaughna Phillips after the former Love Island star was rushed out of the National Television Awards when she "almost collapsed." The reality TV star, 28, was helped out of Wembley's OVO Arena by her manager after suddenly falling ill part way through the star-studded ceremony. After returning home, Shaughna took to her Instagram Story to explain to fans what happened, adding that she wasn't escorted out due to drunkenness. The star said: "So if anyone saw my exit from the NTAs, I just want to put it out there I wasn't drunk.
I nearly fainted. "I just had this absolute dodgy turn," she continued. "And yeah, I had to take my shoes off and be helped out by my manager." Shaughna joked: "Just in case anyone did see and thought 'f*cking hell she's seen better days', correct.
But I weren't drunk, thanks." Adding text to her clip, Shaughna wrote: "Had the best time other than that though lol. "This is my insurance in case there's any stories tomorrow saying I was a drunk mess [laughing emoji]." An eyewitness to Shaughna's fainting spell spoke to The Sun, telling the outlet: "Shaughna said she was feeling unwell and then fainted. It was really worrying for everyone with her.
"She was taken care of and then she was sent back to her hotel. Shaughna was pretty upset by it all. It was a horrible thing to happen." Shaughna's early exit wasn't the only drama to occur at last night's NTAs, with award winners This Morning getting booed as they made their way to the stage.
