Love Island's Shaughna Phillips has announced that she is expecting her first child, and she's resorted to clever ways to keep it a secret until she revealed the news.The 28 year old, who found fame on the winter season of Love Island in 2020, is expecting her baby in March 2023, and she shared a sweet video compilation to Instagram to announce her joy. She hasn't remained behind closed doors before her revelation, though, having been seen in public as recently as last week, when she attended the National Television Awards in a lacy jumpsuit. In what was perhaps a hint at her pregnancy, she posted a snap to Instagram of her posing on the red carpet with a hand placed on her belly, although it wasn't discernible that she had a bump.
In other recent snaps posted to Instagram, Shaughna cleverly disguised her bump with loose fitting clothing or coats, or by putting her hand in front of it. Shaughna announced her pregnancy with a sweet black and white video where she could be seen having her ultrasound and posing with a positive pregnancy test. She also visited her late father's grave and she could be seen telling her friends Demi Jones and Lauren Mahon as they could be seen reacting emotionally.
Alongside the video, Shaughna wrote: "Our greatest chapter yet…" with a star and a white love heart emoji. Her pal Demi wrote: "I love you so much. I’m so happy and proud of you!!" whilst former Love Island presenter Laura Whitmore commented: "It’s the best! So happy for you x" Vicky Pattison wrote: "Omg!!! Congratulations beautiful girl," as Billie Shepherd, who is also currently pregnant, said: "Awww congratulations darling.
