A Scots TikTok user has been left totally gobsmacked after pop icon Shania Twain liked one of his videos he posted to the social media site.
Banker Gary Paterson, from Glasgow, is a massive fan of Shania and couldn't believe his eyes when he opened the app on his mobile and spotted a notification alerting him that the ‘Man I Feel Like A Woman' singer had visited his profile.
The 33-year-old was quick to tell his pals on Facebook about the surreal moment, while he enjoys a holiday in Turkey, saying that his 'life is complete'.
In the post, Gary wrote: "I'm sorry WHAT !!!!!!! Only Shania Twain watching and liking my TikToks!! Life is complete !!!"
And speaking to the Record, he added: "I am buzzing. I literally just timed it well because you can lose your notifications, so I just went on at the right time.
"I pure jumped out my bed and was screaming omg, omg. I wanted to do a live video but I am in a hotel and would have woken the whole building up with my screaming.
"So I took a screenshot and sent it to all my pals. The video she liked was me telling TikTok that I had just bought VIP tickets to see her in Glasgow next year."
Shania Twain will be performing in Scotland next year. The country singer is playing two nights at the OVO Hydro in September, as part of her world tour.
Gary continued: "My dream was to go to Vegas and see her perform live for my 30th, a few years prior to that we were building up and planning for it.
"And then a few years later she announced that she was performing at the BBC Radio 2 festival in London, and I was just like no way is Shania Twain coming to the UK, so I was like I need to go.
"So I booked tickets and went down to see her there. I got back from London and she announced she was doing a tour and
