But if January is any indication, a new crop of couples will soon be making headlines in 2020.

Selena Gomez opted to wait another year to attend her next Grammys. The singer, who just released her album Rare, isn't nominated for any awards this year because the album was just released.

Beyoncé doesn't always go to award shows that nominate her, so it's not shocking that Bey and her husband Jay-Z skipped this year's Grammys. The singer has four nominations tonight for her The Lion King: The Gift album: Best Pop Solo Performance ("Spirit"; she lost that one), Best Pop Vocal Album (The Lion King: The Gift), Best Song Written for Visual Media ("Spirit"), and Best Music Film (Homecoming).

BTS is back at the Grammys, and this year, they're performing. V, RM, Suga, Jungkook, Jin, J-Hope, and Jimin hit the red carpet dressed for a major night, and, as always, they upped the bar for all men's award show fashion. The group coordinated in trench coats, all in neutral tones. They look amazing.
