Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes chose to stay apart for most of the Grammys ceremony: They walked the red carpet separately and were not photographed together during the show at all. But the PDA was back as soon as the broadcast ended, and the after parties began.

Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello, a couple very much in their honeymoon phase, surprisingly chose to spend most of the Grammys ceremony apart, despite being in the same room. But it was still a date night for them once the show ended.

The “Havana” singer, 22, and the Canadian heartthrob, 21, sparked split rumors on Sunday, Jan. 26, after they walked the red carpet at the 62nd annual Grammy Awards without each other. Shawn was the first to arrive and walked the red carpet solo, while Camila came about half an hour later and brought her dad as her date. (More on that later.)

As she sang the song, which was written in honor of her father, she stepped down from the stage to embrace her dad at the end of the performance. Watch that below.
