'Scream VI' Team Responds to Those Stu Macher Rumors and Matthew Lillard's Possible Return (Exclusive)

Wendy Williams' rep is updating fans on what the 58-year-old TV and radio personality is working on these days, including the future of her possible podcast and if she is planning a return to television. «We are still working behind the scenes on several projects,» Shawn Zanotti tells ET. As for reports that her podcast,  has been canceled, her reps adds, «There has been no official cancellation of the podcast.»As for a possible television comeback, Zanotti says that «Wendy does desire to return to TV.»Williams was also recently spotted at The Townhouse in New York City.

Angelique Jackson Christina Milian continues her streak of rom-coms at Netflix with the upcoming holiday movie “Meet Me Next Christmas.” The project marks the actor and musician’s third collaboration with Netflix following her popular destination romances, 2021’s “Resort to Love” — which spent four weeks on the streamer’s global top 10 film list — and 2019’s “Falling Inn Love.” Milian will executive produce and star in “Meet Me Next Christmas,” playing Layla, who, in pursuit of a fairytale romance with the man of her dreams, must race through New York City to get her hands on the hottest ticket in town: the sold out Pentatonix Christmas Eve Concert.

Naman Ramachandran A feature documentary on champion athlete Carl Lewis will be the first film under the Noah Media Group‘s recently revealed multi-million dollar content fund. The documentary will be executive produced by Uninterrupted, the Emmy-winning athlete empowerment brand founded by LeBron James and Maverick Carter. In a record-breaking career spanning 18 years, Lewis won nine Olympic gold medals in track and field and was voted Sportsman of the Century by the International Olympic Committee. Currently in production, the film will explore the man behind the medals, with exclusive access to his family, closest friends and an unseen, vast archive. It will show the transformational impact Lewis’s career had – both in his sport and in wider society – and is set against a contemporary narrative as Lewis, now a coach and politically engaged, confronts issues around his country’s future.

Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright may be headed back to reality TV and are here to clear up the viral drama. The Vanderpump Rules alums sat down with ET's Rachel Smith on Tuesday in New York City where they promoted their new podcast, , and hinted that a return to the franchise — and reality television in general — isn't exactly out of the question.«We have things that are coming, arising,» Taylor teased, with Cartwright shooting down an appearance by the couple on the current season of . «I don't know what we're allowed to [say]. We're working on a situation… What I'd like to have is the parents on one [show] and that's what I wanted, but I don't know. ['Scandoval'] is causing a lot right now so they're kind of waiting to see how this plays out,» he noted.

Charna Flam Freddie Prinze Jr. isn’t eager to return to the “Scooby-Doo” franchise. In a recent interview with TooFab, the 47-year-old actor was quick to turn down the prospect of reuniting with his wife, Sarah Michelle Gellar, as well as Matthew Lillard and Linda Cardellini for a third film playing Mystery Incorporated. “It wouldn’t be something I would do,” Prinze said. “I have zero interest. I mean, it was tricky. It wouldn’t be for me, man.” The actor clarified that his thoughts on the matter come down to the studio, rather than the project itself. The first “Scooby-Doo” (2002) and its 2004 sequel, “Monsters Unleashed,” were both distributed by Warner Bros.

According to Paramount, those ticket sales mark the biggest overseas opening weekend of the “Scream” franchise, ahead of prior installments by 60% for comparable markets. The latest “Scream” also set a new record in North America with its $44.5 million debut, bringing its global tally to $67 million. “Scream VI” established new high-watermarks for the long-running series in 29 international territories, including the United Kingdom ($3.6 million), France ($2.5 million), Australia ($2 million), Mexico ($2 million) and Brazil ($1.8 million).

Those ticket sales were enough to top domestic box office charts over two newcomers, Sony’s prehistoric sci-fi thriller “65” and the Focus Features heartwarming comedy “Champions,” as well as last weekend’s victor “Creed III.” The initial haul for “Scream VI” is frighteningly strong for the sixth installment in a franchise. Not only did it greatly improve upon the start of last year’s hit reboot “Scream,” which scored with $30 million, but it crushed the all-time opening weekend record previously set by 2000’s “Scream 3” with $34 million. And, “Scream VI” cost $35 million so it’ll easily turn a profit in its theatrical run.

Scream 6 is the latest in the franchise, and fans rolled out to the theaters to find out who lives, who dies, and who is behind the Ghostface mask. This time around the franchise left Woodsboro, much like in Scream 2 and 3. The New York City setting was the perfect backdrop for the film as the busy streets, close-knit apartments, and subways add to the spooky setting.

Helen Mirren plays an otherworldly goddess in, but on the set of the upcoming sequel, she was only human!The actress revealed in a recent interview that she actually broke a finger during the filming of the sequel, in which Mirren, Lucy Liu and Rachel Zegler join the cast as a trio of supernatural sisters. When the co-stars sat down to discuss the film with ET's Ash Crossan, Mirren shared why she kept the injury a secret from the cast and crew.«When you're in that stunt world, the stunt people are so brave, and you want to be accepted by them,» the Oscar winner confessed. «I'm sucking up to the stunt people.»«They're the popular kids,» Zegler added with a laugh.«They were the cool kids, exactly,» Mirren agreed. «I wanted to be accepted by them so I was not going to complain about my finger.»Thankfully, the 77-year-old actress promised that she doesn't have any extreme stunts coming up in her next franchise installment, teasing that in the film, «I just stand looking at Rome… but the driving was great.»The film's titular star, Zachary Levi, also opened up about Mirren hiding her on-set mishap.«I had no idea, but she's such a trouper,» the actor said.
