Scots OAP with dementia missing as police launch appeal to trace him

A 78-year-old man with dementia has been reported missing as police have launched an appeal to try and trace him. Thomas Phillips left his home in Oxgangs Park, Edinburgh and travelled on a bus to Aberdeen on Tuesday, May 24.

He was last spotted at the bus station in Guild Street, around 1.30pm and hasn't been seen or heard from since.Thomas may possibly have gone towards the railway station looking for a taxi.

He could also be disorientated.Police Scotland have described the pensioner as around 5ft 2in in height, of a slim build, with grey, balding hair.
