Scots martial arts stuntman works as Tom Hardy's double in upcoming Netflix film

NFL superstar Tom Brady will be taking the heat as the first subject of an upcoming series of new Netflix specials, Greatests Roasts Of All Time: GROAT. Brady also will serve as an executive producer, with his own roast set to tape in 2023, following his next season in the NFL.

Outfest Screenwriting Lab has become the cornerstone of Outfest’s education and creative development programming.As the arts, media and entertainment organization celebrates its 40th anniversary, and the lab its 25th, Outfest has expanded the program with the support of partner Netflix, waiving submission fees for all applicants and providing grants for each of the selected screenwriters to help financially support them.“Everyone knows that a great film, a great series, a great story begins with the screenplay,” stated Outfest executive director, Damien S. Netflix has ordered a third season of I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson.

Ethan Shanfeld Tim Robinson’s beloved sketch comedy show “I Think You Should Leave” has been renewed for Season 3 at Netflix, Variety has learned exclusively.Cast member Sam Richardson told Variety that the team was in the process of writing the third season in early March. It is unclear when Season 3 will debut, as well as how many episodes it will contain. If one thing’s for sure, there will be more memes (and hopefully more hot dogs).“I’m not sure when they’ll start filming,” said Richardson, who appeared in both seasons of the Netflix show.

It’s been a tough few weeks for Netflix. The streamer lost subscribers for the first time in over a decade and its market value took a battering, losing over $50 billion in one day after its disappointing first quarter earnings.

It’s been almost half a year since Netflix’s big flex. At the beginning of this year, the streamer unveiled its big 2022 teaser video, highlighting many of their upcoming films.

As studios meet in Las Vegas to present footage of there upcoming slates to exhibitors,  Netflix is showcasing there own slate of future feature films as it has unveiled its upcoming summer slate of original movies. Some of the films receiving new release dates include the Vampire thriller Day Shift starring Jamie Foxx, which is set to bow on August 12, the Kevin Hart-Mark Wahlberg comedy Me Time, bowing on Aug. 26 and the Dakota Johnson drama Persuasion, bowing July 15.  The streamer also confirmed dates of some highly-anticipated films that had previously been announced like the Adam Sandler sports pic Hustle, which bows on June 8, the Chris Hemsworth-Miles Teller Thriller Spiderhead, which bows on June 17 and most recently the The Russo Brothers next film The Gray Man, starring Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans, which will premiere on July 22.

The streamer unveiled a first look at the Kevin Hart and Mark Wahlberg-starrer “Me Time,” which follows a stay-at-home dad (Hart) who finds himself with some “me time” for the first time in years.

Netflix has acquired global rights to ACE Entertainment’s YA romance, The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight, starring Haley Lu Richardson (Unpregnant), Ben Hardy (6 Underground), Jameela Jamil (The Good Place), Rob Delaney (Catastrophe), Dexter Fletcher (Lock, Stock, And Two Smoking Barrels) and Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’s Diary).

Kevin Hart announced on Tuesday he is merging his Laugh Out Loud and HartBeat Productions to form HartBeat, a global, multi-platform media company. HartBeat launches with a $100M investment from private equity firm Abry Partners, which took a minority investment in the new company. As part of the deal, Abry Partners partner Nicolas Massard will be joining the HartBeat board.
