Police are investigating the 'unexplained' death of a Dundee dad as heartfelt tributes have poured in for 'one of the good guys'.
The 50-year-old, named locally as Desmond McGreevy, passed away at a property in the Brownhill Road area of the city on Monday night.
Officers have remained at the scene for several days as they continue to probe the circumstances surrounding his sudden death.
Local reports claim a small forensic tent has been erected in the garden of the property.
Several moving tributes for Desmond have been shared on social media by devastated friends and loved ones.

Niece Shona McGreevy wrote: “Uncle Des, I took this photo an hour before I found out you passed away. Gives me peace hoping you now are watching over us.
“We’ve tried to enjoy the rest of our holiday but we’re ready/ on our way home to be with the family.My heart is broken to hear you’ve left this world.
“You were the best uncle to say the least. Thank you for all the wonderful memories you’ve gave me and Ryan growing up and caring for us.
“You were so loved by everyone just like how much you loved us. Although we’re all grieving and it hurts so much now you’re no longer with us I hope you’re with Grandad John and Grandad Dodge now and lofty your best friend. Forever and ever in our hearts.”
Sharing a picture of Des, Laura Oswald posted: “One of the good guys. Forever talking about Blackpool and genuinely having a right laugh. Hated when I called him Desmond! RIP mate, you'll be missed by many.”
Another pal added: “So lost a very dear friend, one of my closest, my legendary Desi boy Des McGreevy. Love you with all my heart and will be missed.
