A Scots policeman has been left in tears fearing for his family’s safety after Russia's invasion of Ukraine left the country "apocalyptic".

A Scots bank has been "ram-raided" by thieves in an early morning break-in as the doors have been spotted lying on the ground.
Emergency services have descended on the Bank of Scotland branch in Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow, today following the incident.
Police and forensic officers remain at the scene scouring for evidence after the alarm was raised around following the incident around 3.30am.
One eyewitness told Glasgow Live that the bank "looks as if it has been ram-raided" with "the doors lying on the ground".
Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers were made aware of a break-in at a premises on Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow around 3.30am on Sunday, 13 February, 2022.
"Enquiries are at an early stage.”
