The two broadcasters have been dominant players for decades, often setting the news agenda and providing shared cultural moments.But they've also served different roles, with TVNZ selling ads and following a commercial model, while RNZ has run ad-free and acted in more of a public service role, notably in crises like earthquakes.The new organization is likely to have an increased focus on growth areas like on-demand video, online news and podcasts.

Aldous Harding has shared a new single today, ‘Fever’ – listen to the track below.It’s taken from her upcoming new album ‘Warm Chris’ and follows on from the previously released ‘Lawn‘. The New Zealand musician will release the follow-up to her April 2019 record ‘Designer’ on March 25 via 4AD.‘Warm Chris’ was produced by John Parish (who also produced ‘Designer’ and Harding’s 2017 LP ‘Party’), with all 10 tracks being recorded at Rockfield Studios. Harding’s 2021 single ‘Old Peel’ does not make the final cut, however.The album includes contributions from Sleaford Mods’ Jason Williamson as well as H. Foo Fighters have announced a new Australian and New Zealand stadium tour, set to take place later this year.The new dates across the two countries will mark the band’s first full headline tour in the area since 2018.As teased by frontman Dave Grohl on stage in Geelong on Friday night (March 4), Foo Fighters will make their return to Australia and New Zealand in November and December 2022 for six stadium shows. The run will kick off in Perth on November 30, before continuing on to Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Wellington and Auckland.Along the way, the US band will be joined by Australian and New Zealand support acts including The Chats, Teenage Joans, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, Amyl And The Sniffers, and Dick Move.
