The case had ben on pause for settlement since 2021.The musicians based their claims off of a part of the Copyrights Act.

The BRIT Awards 2024 have announced details of a partnership with No Music On A Dead Planet to further their commitment to environmental sustainability, NME can exclusively announce.The move is part of the BRITs “long-term vision” to “constantly review, innovate and adapt to deliver the awards’ sustainability goals”. As a result, the awards will be teaming up the climate action group Music Declares Emergency to launch the first public call to action for their global No Music On A Dead Planet campaign.

The Producers Guild got a jump on its 2024 PGA Awards tonight in Manhattan, revealing winners in its Sports and Children’s categories.

Matthew Perry will be honored at its TV awards later this year following backlash over his omission from the film awards’ In Memoriam segment on Sunday evening. Although Perry, who died last October, was best known for his 10-year stint as Chandler Bing on hit TV show “Friends,” he also appeared in a number of popular feature films in the late 1990s and early 2000s, including “The Whole Nine Yards” alongside Bruce Willis and “Fools Rush In” opposite Salma Hayek.
